i dont have a ms3 or cpe mount. ive heard good things about both :D. but i have the sure motor mount on rite now, and it is totally awesome. compared to alot of others in pics, i think its alot beefier than others. no wheel hop, and butter shifting. you might get a bit more vibration in first gear which is the downside. but overall, its solid, especailly for the track.

Both are an improvment on the crappy stock mount. Go with either.

any aftermarket motor mount is better than the stock one. :)

and if you're on a tight budget, take a look at this one, if it's still there.

can't beat that price. Not that a cp-e one is much more. lol

If you haven't already, check out TRZ. I'm very happy with it. Have had it installed for ~ 4 months - 8000km.

cp-e might be pricey but their stuff is worth every penny...you get what you pay for.

Would an engine motor mount fall under the 5 year 100,000 powertrain warranty? Going to have it looked at this week when I get an oil change. Car is jerky at 80+km/h (steering wheel/gas pedal/entire car) especially shortly after start up and even at lower speeds (40-70 km). It gets better at about 110 km/h and warmed up. Had bent rims but replaced them so shouldn't be that and normally those are felt at higher speeds.

I was told that the motor mounts and bushings are not covered under warrenty, this was QEW Mazda so i take faith in the fact that they tried, and this was just last week. I have the same issue you do, shuddering at 80 smoother(!) by 110. I think I might just bite the bullet and do this myself.

Actually, the motor mounts are covered under the 5 years powertrain warranty. I had mine replaced by Agincourt Mazda recently and it was over 3 years. Here's my post on it.

you came in and we told you that the motor mounts and bushings are not covered? engine mounts are covered under 5 year 100 000km warranty, however bushings would have been covered under 3 year or 80,000km warranty. so unless you are over the mileage i dont see how you would not be covered. if you send me your information i will glady check your customer file.
