I never understood the point of having a small club in your trunk. I guess I like to hear the rest of the music lol.
That being said, that thing is pushing A LOT of air.

First thing I usually ask people when they get in my vehicle is if it's to loud tell to tell me, as I like it loud, but it's also balanced and clean..

Those systems are to crazy/outlandish. There a difference between being an audiofile and wanting a nice clean sound thats loud and not overpowering. you want to be able to hear the highs and the lows not just bass. Bass is supposed to enhance the music that you are listening to not take over the music and yes just listening to these vid's made my ears hurt and that off some crappy speakers on my computer. Hearing aids here we come. numb skulls.

I never really understood why people think that folks minding their own business on the street want to hear a wall of bass bees buzzing out of their trunk. Literally, nobody except you cares about what you're listening to except you. Everyone else thinks you're annoying... like a child whining so people will pay attention to them.
that being said, check this out lol

haha i know what you mean. always have to hide my head in shame because i think a neighbour or someone that knows me is going to see me and think poorly of me.

yeah ive seen them, they're awesome vids. what it comes down to is its a show/comp. truck (i.e. steve) vs. some of the setups people have on the street which are annoying and irresponsible. in particular, some of the latter setups are a complete waste of money (friend has two kickers, no other components/upgrades beside deck and amp) because no matter how much they try, it will never sound as good as a proper HT setup.

Im sure the bass alone sounds clean. But its like standing next to the subs in a club, you cant hear SHIT else.

+1 the worst is when your trying to sleep / study / work and someone things it's really cool to sit outside and shake your place. Nothing more annoying, I remember someone doing this at 2AM and I was looking out the balcony to yell turn that $(*F off. Call me old, but I appreciate my hearing and quiteness. I'm gunna wave my cane at those immature rascals!

When it's done right, the subwoofer complements the songs so well!!
