Broken Engine Mounts

About a week ago, i was driving home and as i was turning onto my driveway, i hear the biggest clunk.
So i proceeded to look around my car, but i didn't see anything loose (the clunk sounded like some metal that fell off and hit the floor). I noticed that the car was vibrating much more than before so i popped the hood and saw that the engine fell forward a little to the side.

Has this happened to anyone? What could have caused this?
I got my car back from the dealership (after a week!)
They replaced Engine mount #1 and #4 (is it one from the side and front?)
And they couldn't tell me what could have caused this, nor have they seen it themselves.
I don't drive my car rough or anything...

Any insight would be nice, and are there only aftermarket RMM to upgrade to?

this was a big problem for Mazdaspeed 3

it happened a few times on regular 1st gen 3s, but this is the first I heard of it happening in a 2nd gen
was very common with 1st gen ms3s

stupid mazda, you think they got this right after so many years of building 3s!
