Hello
I finally got my HPFP Internals installed.
Am looking for downpipe right now.
I'm debating between Cobb and CPE.
There's 200$ difference, what is that for?
Fitment, performance wise which one is better?
And lastly, I really want the one that makes the less noise please.
THANKS

I dont know which makes less noise, but seeing that you already have the COBB AP, SRI, TIH, you might as well go COBB DP. I would assume that it may function better due to the other COBB products and we all know they were meant to function as a system.
When I get mine I will get COBB that will go with my SRI and my future TIP...thats just the way I am. my 2 cents anyway.
Both will be equally loud.
comes down to personal preference really. Both are great products.
You can't ask what the $200 difference is for. they're just priced differently, end of story. haha

Get the cheaper one. Quite positive they offer same performance.
if you want to keep everything one brand, then get the Cobb.
Cobb AP, Cobb FMIC, Cobb SRI etc etc.
however Cp-e also makes every part you need except the Cobb AP.
Just get which ever one you want.
CPe has life time warranty
and its a good thing cus the cats do go

One other thing to consider, the Cobb DP tapers down at the end where it joins the cat back to match the OE cat back diameter. The CPE dp is 3" all the way to the end. If you are sticking with the OE cat back I'm not sure it matters, if you are going with an aftermarket 3" cat back, the taper in the Cobb DP may become a flow restriction.

on that same note, the Magnaflow catback tapers down from a 3inch to 2.5 inch to match the stock cat and dp.

I'll most likely be getting HKS or Tanabe Axelback
So the catback section will remain stock size

I have gen2 and that set up w/ stock CBE. Same loudness as stock, sound changes a slight bit.
