Knocking/Ticking Noise From Ventilation System

Hey,

I am getting a very loud knocking/ticking noise from the ventilation system. This noise occurs when I start the car and lasts about a minute. It also happens when I switch the vent setting from windshield to mid/floor and when I turn on/off the cabin air re-circulating button.

I do not think that leaves stuck in the blower motor are causing this becuase the sound is constant, it does not increase if I turn up the fan speed.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Mine does this too and in the same positions as yours. I dismiss it as normal noise. I do get a ticking noise, not so much a hard knock.
mine's a '07 GT Sport.
