Infinity Kappa 6x8 680.9CS Components

If i keep the stock headunit WITHOUT using the alpine amp, will i notice a difference in sound quality?

right now i have a stock non bose sound system in the 2011 3 gt. obvisouly using the amp will net better results, but what about without it? is it worth the upgrade?

anything other than OEM paper speakers will improve sound quality

you should still use your amp if your putting in components to make the most of them, that's what Ive been told, the stock HU won't give them enough juice to make them sound like they should sound like

I have these in my sedan, no amp just an aftermarket HU. I switched to these and moved my JBL 6x8 coaxials to the rear. I'd say it's one of the best upgrades i've done on my car. Great sound, and a world of a difference from coaxials IMO. I can't imagine how nice they would sound with an amp. BTW u might want to check out the prices on ebay or amazon.com. I think I saw them for 99$ on amazon.com, but they wouldn't ship to my area. I ended up getting them for 140 on ebay.
