I only go there to do my Rust check up (because I bought the car there). So I went in Saturday morning just to do a Rust check, after about 1/2 hour sitting in the waiting room I went to the service desk to see if my car was ready the service guy yeah its ready, but the mechanic said my emergency brake is seized, I said really I got it replaced last spring (got it done by Jimmy but I didn't tell him that), he asked was it done here , I said hell no. Then the mechanic came in and the service guy asked him how do you its seized, does it look new? the customer said he just got it replaced. The mechanic said, I didn't look at it, I just know its seized. Then he walked off. The service guy said maybe I should take it back where I got it done. I turned to the service guy and said can I have my keys and the bill. Then I left and looked at the recommended service to replace the e-brake cable $620+tax. I was thinking in my head I use my e-brake every day and there is nothing wrong with it.
Then out of curiosity, I took it to a mechanic friend and he said there is nothing wrong with it.
My thoughts again, STAY AWAY FROM MARKHAM MAZADA
