Tranmission Problems?

Hey everyone... I have a question about the Mazda 3 Transmission...

Currently I have a 2009 Mazda 3 GT which I bought brand new from Prima Mazda. It is a daily driver and I drive it a lot because I live pretty far from work. I RARELY use the Sport Shift mode and have used it only 5 times since I have owned the car.

My car currently has 113000kms on it.

I flushed my transmission fluid at 96000kms and checked it again at 113000kms and the fluid is literally black again. I know that the fluid is not supposed to look like dirty oil.....so I'm going to change the transmission fluid again and pray my transmission doesn't break on me...

My question is... is there something bigger that is wrong with my transmission?? Or something else that I need to be worried about???

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Is this a common problem amongst the 3's?

what kind of transmission fluid u put in? plus why are you worried, just for the colour? or is it hard to shift or get into gear or something?

If its black then it's do again... The transmission runs hot on these cars... I'm actually surprised you made it to 96,000km before changing the fluid.

My sister in laws Mazda goes to about 40,000 to 60,000 km before it needs to be changed.

the gears shift fine perfectly... I was only worried because I was really surprised the transmission fluid turned black so quickly.... in my previous experiences with my Hondas and Acuras, I never had this problem... but I guess this car is a little bit different...

and I used the ATF from the Mazda Dealership...

why even bother flushing the tranny if you're going to use conventional crappy ATF? if you want a peace of mind, synthetic is the only way to go
if the dealer didn't flush but did only a drain and fill, that's also an explanation to what happened

I've used Mazda ATF since day, and changed it on my preference; it still runs smooth. Have you changed your transmission filter? (you don't change this every time. Also, the filter is like $70 bucks)

hmmm... I totally forgot about the Tranny filter... I'm going to do that next time and switch to Synthetic while I'm at... thanks for all the help!
