Keep I mind your 2005 Mazda will not let you keep the LCD screen 2006-2009 you can keep the screen (this is why I specifically wanted the metra dash kit... It came with the brackets to keep the screen)

Part # 99-7504

I heard the metra kits have fitment issues..and that sosche kits are better fitment wise....I'm aware of losing the LCD, so I might end up going for the metra kit regardless so I can grab that bracket replacement for the LCD.
Where did you buy yours from, aris?

Got the kit installed just a few minutes ago. The fitment of the metra kit is definitely off. The bottom portion right above the HVAC unit has about 1/8 of an inch gap. The hooks in the back are supposed to hold the HVAC together as the stock HU does. But the hooks don't seem to be strong enough. It let's the HVAC hang forward. Not too noticeable though.
I'm gonna try and bolt in the HVAC to hopefully push it back it a bit.
