So i have snow tires that are 185/70/r14 from a civic but i need new rims since the 94 accord is 4x114.3 and the civic is 4x100

will these steelies fit?
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAdLargeImage?AdId=328977486

or what do i need to know to be able to tell if it fits?
i think the 5.5J means the width

edit: sorry to clarify - the car i want to put it on is a 94 accord

Didn't understand at first that you were talking about buying rims for a 1994 Honda Accord.

5.5J width should be OK for 185/70 tires. (reference (http://customwheelsmarket.com/rimwheelwidth1.html))

4x114.3 seems to match bolt pattern you stated for the accord so that works out too.

So based on a perfunctory glance, it looks like those steelies should work.

EDIT1: I'm assuming you've already checked if the tires fall within acceptable deviation (+/- 3%) from the stock tires for the Accord? Refer to the Miata.net Tire Calc (http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html) if you haven't yet.

EDIT2: Yes, 5.5 refers to the rim width (in inches, I believe) and the "J" refers to the type of lip from what I recall.

@OP: Centre bore for your 1994 Accord appears to be 64.1mm.

old guy selling has no idea, and he's selling because his daughter bought it and it doesn't fit her car -_-
is it usually written somewhere on the steelie?

Hi Midnight
is this info usually stamped on the steelie somewhere? I am going to go pick these up today, and the seller doesn't know anything about these (he's an old guy selling it for his daughter)
