HID's Flickering [Archive]

Hey I have had my HID's installed for a little over a year now about 4 months ago one side started flickering once in a while but now it flickers a lot. Do i have to change my whole hid kit? could it be the wires? what do i do?

Check all wires first....if not the wires then it could be your ballast that needs to be changed...i dont think it would be the bulbs..

did you install a capacitor??
or do you have a relay installed with the kit?

I got them from nextmod, and capacitor?? im not sure lol.. first time i got hid's.. The colour is not as strong anymore as well on the side that is flickering. Could it be that the kit is just dying after 1 year?

Where can i get it checked out and fixed if possible for cheap?

^ Go back for warranty? The colour not being as strong is probably normal.

Flickering, could be a bad ballast.

Capacitor/ballast man, that needs replacing...it has nothing to do with the bulbs

This sounds exactly like what is happening to me. I will upload pictures probably tomorrow of the colour difference in my headlights.
