Need sources for BBS lips [Archive]

Does anyone know some good places to order lips for BBS wheels? I know of a couple places, but I want to shop around.

Need a place that will manufacture/sell 17" lips, custon made to order if neccesary. If there are any BBS afficianatos out there, I need lips that will fit my 17" RSII wheels... which are currently 2pc with similar specs to BBS LM barrels.

In case anyone's wondering, I'm thinking (depending on how much I can get lips for) of popping my wheels on a lathe and cutting off the lip, which is damaged beyond safe repair IMO. My plan is to convert my 2pc wheels to 3pc, 17x9 & 17x10

Thanks Dave... I should fire off an email to them. It says on their site that they only do lips for 15" wheels :/

I'd definitely consider used if I could find a set that would fit. I'll check the vwvortex forums for sure, thanks for the tip man!

im digging around the mk4 forums, trying to find anyone who sells new ones.

will something like RS 34 hole lips work, or do RSII's have differnet barrels/etc?

Yeah they have different barrels. The bolt pattern on the lips is like a LM. 16 bolts instead of 20* (it's technically a bbs motorsport wheel iirc)

They're essentially a style 5 (I think 5) which is an oem bmw wheel, but with a nissan bolt pattern and hub bore.

*Edit: my bad; 20 bolt instead of 32.

This lead me to believe they COULD do whatever size you wanted. I dunno though

i'll search around Vortex for any possible LM or RSII lips.
doubt i'll find much, everyone seems to be rockin' RS's
