hey guys, long story short... i installed halos in my headlights.

my driver head light is perfect but my passenger head light fogs every time i wash the car, it is fine when it rains.

last week i took the lead light off and went over the headlight with silicon II, used almost the whole tube for the one headlight, washed the car a few days later and of course it still fogs... i think

i had limited time so i had to seal the headlight with condensation still in the headlight... this morning i looked at the light and it looked perfect no fog. i drove somewhere got out and looked and it was fogged right up all over again.

so my question to you guys is: is it possible that now the headlights are sealed properly they are airtight, but because there is still condensation in the light that the cold air on the outside mixed with the warm air inside the headlight housing and no way for the condensation inside to evaporate that it fogs right up?

any ideas on how to seal this head light better? im at the point where ill just deal with this until the spring and ill buy new head lights and try to sell these ones to someone who wants to try to fix the fogging issue. thanks!

Take out the head light and use a hair dryer to dry out the inside. If you sealed it so that it was air tight while there was still condensation inside, that condensation has no way of drying up or going anywhere. You need to give it a way out. If you take out one of your bulbs and let it sit to dry, that might work, but no idea how long it will take in this cold. Best bet is to take a hairdryer to the inside of it.
