I got a pair of halos to go around the low and high beams of my headlights... Problem is I don't know how to do it. IS there anyone who knows how or can lead me to a DIY? I've tried searching but no page gives a specific outline of the steps to take...

This would be my first DIY that would require me to take parts off so I want to take every precaution I can...

Unless someone can point me towards someone who does these kinds of installations

Thanks :)

Baazziiiiing (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?18152-How-To-Install-Angel-Eyes-(TM3-edition)&highlight=angel+diy+install).

PS - Search terms used: angel, diy, install. I knew there was likely to be a how-to thread but didn't know where it was.

If you check other threads, McGuyver hasn't been active on the forum for some time now. He is no longer a sponsor and you will have to source out somebody else to do your install.

There are a few posts on the mazda3forums.com site that have DYI's for angel eyes.

Agreed that Dan is inactive, but it doesn't hurt to contact him, ya never know. Maybe he'll come out and do another mass angel eye baking day lol

as far as I know they are just retail and don't do installs. Phone them yourself and let us know.
You would be best to try one of our sponsors.

Well, I have a BBQ that might be large enough. So if this could work in a BBQ, we could always give it a shot. Someone will have to bring charcoal and lighter fluid though, I'm all out.

And what does this have to do with the the OP request?

What do you think an oven is? A massive BBQ essentially.

Let's be honest here and then get back on track.

Since I'm sure Dave was kidding and all, I just want to say DO NOT USE A BBQ. Even though there is the possibility that it could work, you are using open flames and the temperature is not as stable as an oven. You will most likely melt your headlight and and then you will end up having to replace it.

BTW, I called station 28 @ Pacific Mall. They do not do installation, as expected. When asked if they knew anyone that could install halos on my car, they said no.
