Before I go off and sell my car I thought I'd share my experiences with this bad boy.

I bought my car off lease about 3.5 years ago and currently have 157,000 km and counting.

Since then I have treated it like a baby and I have NEVER, not once encountered any problems except creeking in my right side rear door and a tiny bit of rust at the bottom by one of the rear tires.
Just goes to show, that with regular maintenance, you can make a car really last. Really impressed considering it's a launch model car.

I have to say that my experience with it has been really pleasant and would recommend Mazda3's to anyone.

I've enjoyed it for its:
- customizability
- looks (inside and out)
- fuel consumption
- reliability
- practicality
- and speed

Whether I sell this car in the very near future or hold on to it until spring, I will truly miss my Mazda3:D

Depends how aggressively I drive. I would say on average I get about 10km/L.

10L per 100km is pretty good. My old Sunfire does that as well but with 45HP less ;)

Reliability is pretty good so far, although I replaced alternator and one coil in 2009 at 60K. Since then, no problems.

Rust... I had the dealer put that gummy rust proofing on the edges of fenders and trunk/door, so no rust there, but I am experiencing bubbling in the passenger side B-pillar. That is disappointing, but otherwise still good.

It's a 2005 Mazda 3 GT, right now 104K, 5-speed.
