I put this in my thread in the member's section, but i'm not getting any hits.

I'm starting to think about which 17" wheels I want to get in the spring...looking for suggestions.

So far I like (in no particular order):
Enkei EKM3 (Gunmetal)
Enkei T-Fork (Anthracite)
Enkei Klamp (Hyper Black)

I am open to other suggestions, not set on just Enkei's...keep in mind I will not be dropping the car, and would like to stay as close to stock as possible.

I'd also like to stay under/around $600 for wheels.

Thanks!
Mike

I plan on it, was just looking for the opinion of some forum members on which ones were better looking on our cars.

IMHO - If you have no plans on lowering the car, I would look for an OEM-ish style rim

A silver finish, 5 or 6 spoke wheel would look best.

So either the GT 17's or Speed3 18's (either generation) would be best?

I kinda thought that Gunmetal might look better with a silver car, but i'm good with either of those choices as well.

Yup - both great choices
Speed 3 and Speed 6 rims would look great.

Gunmetal would look great - but it could look off if you keep the ride at stock height.

Don't let me discourage you. Ultimately,iIt's your car and I'm just a schmuck LOL.

No, I appreciate the help. On my first post I did write that my original plan was either GT's or Speeds as upgrades.

lol what does the colour of the rim, or style of the rim have to do with the car being at stock hight?

I've seen some pics of the EKM3 on our cars at stock height, and the wheel gap definitely looks bigger...could be the lower offset of the wheel compared to OEM, or could be the mesh pattern of that rim, making them look smaller.

Personal preference, really

To me, aftermarket rims on a car at stock ride height just doesn't look right. Kind of "incomplete".
Gunmetal colored 10-spoke rims is a dead giveaway of aftermarket-tuner-style rims.

It's like when you see a Dodge Caravan with American Eagle rims. Or an automatic Cavalier with a universal exhaust w/ DTM tip.

Also, a dark colored rim makes wheel gap look larger. Deep dish/lip will make the rim look smaller. In turn making the wheel gap look larger.
