hey guys im new to this site and i dont know much car stuff lol. I just got a HID kit installed on my mazda 3 2007. I thought that meant I will no longer have yellow light showing during the day or night. But its only when its on full that the HID shows in night. I want my bulb when driving in the day to be a white colour too. Is there a specific kit or bulb needed to change the drl when driving in the day. I jus hate seeing yellow.

The day time lights are a different bulb than your night driving lights (which are now your HIDs).

To get rid of the yellow day time light, you'll need to change the bulbs to a hyper white bulb. These are very cheap ($20-25/pair)

I would suggest NOT getting HIDs for that daytime bulb because it doubles as your Hi-beam light.

You need to install tinted lights in your high beams. Don't put LEDs in there, you still need halogen lights to at least flash people and be visible as DRLs during the day.

Somebody correct me, I think the highbeam bulbs are 9006?

They are 9005. Corrected. LOL '07 Fogs would be 9006.

If you've got a 2007, you would need 9005 bulbs, and the prices vary depending on brand.

your questions have already been answered in like 3 other threads. maybe you should take the advice ppl have already given you instead of asking the same question in 5 different threads?

I already mentioned this in a PM, but now decided to combine everything into one new thread instead.

$20-30 dollars. any 9005 bulb will do, but in your case you want to look for 'white / blue' colour. nokya arctic, etc. are brands that offer the colour your are looking for. check the sponsor section, as many of them carry the bulb you are looking for.

and if for some reason you're not happy, just resell them in the classifieds. it is a very inexpensive and straightforward mod, so no need to be hesitant (although understandable if you are new to this).

good luck :thumbsup

As a high beam bulb - it'll suffice

But keep in mind - the bulb is blue but shines white. You will see a blue tint/reflection in your headlamp when the car is off

sharkfin's reception isn't as good as stock antenna, but the difference is minimal (might be more apparent in a tunnel or underground). if it happens outside, then im guessing your distance might be an issue and the regular stubby antenna might be better suited for you.
