Hey guys,

I just bought a 2007 Mazda 3 GS 2.0 L 5 speed from Alan and Eugene over at GTA Fine Cars. Overall, the buying experience was great. They were very helpful and never shied away or avoided any question. I would and very likely will buy from them again. I think the colour is called Galaxy Grey Mica. So far the car is great with the exception of the brakes, but I think that is on Mazda Canada as I believe it is they who have to put new brakes on when selling off lease vehicles.

My new ride drives like a million bucks compared to my 2001 Mazda Protege LX 2.0 5 spd, which I miss in a strange way.

I think the first thing I'm going to do is get the car rust proofed as Mazda's seem to be prone to rust. I'm also interested in finding out what intakes the members of this forum recommend? Is there a consensus as to what the best intakes are for Mazda 3?

I'm pretty sure the intake the people before me mentioned is actually a Ractive short ram intake.
I ran one for almost 15,000km and it ended up going to crap. I would recommend a more expensive/higher quality intake if you're going to worry about CELs and engine issues (Like I do)...but to each their own.

Welcome to the forums btw!

Congrats and welcome to TM3!! We're all over the place when it comes to intakes. K&N, Fujita, Injen, Corskport, and Simota are good options.
