Mazda 5 Tires on a Mazda 3

Hi, I had a Mazda 5 2010 which I was very happy with but it got totaled by a US made SUV. (btw -- most excellent safety performance by this vehicle in the accident -- yes it got totaled but none of us got injured).

Anyways, this was out first Mazda and I was kind of happy with how it performed -- I am interested in getting another one but I dont need a family sized car.

I purchased winter tires for the old Mazda5 which we only used one winter. I believe the M5 shares platform with a Mazda3. Can anyone more knowledgble confirm if the winter tires will fit on a Mazda3 sport or Mazda3 speed?

They should be fine but what is the size of the tires?

Stock sizes for the 2010 Mazda5 are 205/55R16 or 205/50R17.

OP: As long as you are using one of the above, they will fit just fine on your new car. :thumbsup

(speed rating might not be sufficient if mounted on the Speed3, but I don't think that will be a problem with winter tires...)
