My sub was bolted down to the trunk using an L-bracket, this came undone and the sub started to slide around the trunk, now the wires have come completely out of the amp and spark sometimes. Is there anyone in the durham region that could help me fix this, i dont want to go to a shop they would charge me too much for what it probably is. One of the cables that goes into the amp is freyed so the head would have to probably be reattached. Can anyone help?

Aren't most power wires just wedged under a screw? I know mine are. And the audio cable from amp to sub plug in.

In previous cars that I have owned and had a stereo set up that consisted of using a sub box, I have used a simple tie down strap locked into the shild restraint buckles in the trunk where possible. Hatch backs have them on the back side of the seat and normally have another tie down ring near the trunk lid on the floor. Strap that bad boy in and it will never move again unless you want it to move..
