Just so you guys know, I don't drive a Speed3

But today, I went for a car wash (coin-op). As I left the place, water started leaking into the interior where the spoiler was installed :whoa

I did spray water at where the lights are...but now I'm scared if I made any damages to the electrical wiring and stuff. I haven't tested it out to see if the lights work, but that is one freaky thing to happen.

How was the spoiler installed? Did you drill through the metal and into the interior through the rear hatch door or roof? Also, assuming this is the case, did whomever install it use rubber sealing washers or self tapping/sealing screws so that it seals the drill areas?

I don't think any drilling was required, but I'm not even sure because I never even saw what parts were there until it was installed. I picked up the parts from Nextmod, they were wrapped...then headed straight to Velocity for installation. I didn't even see if they drilled anything in that area...although I was told that it fits using all the existing holes from the original spoiler.

The difference is that this is a 2 piece because the light is a separate piece, so I'm wondering if that is that case =/

Well, at least no electrical problems since the lights are still working. *phew*
