Im a movie fanatic and I usually see a movie in the theatres tuesday night (yup half price)
Anyways
Devil's Due - piece of shiit, garbage , wasted an hour n half of my life, wasted $7 when I couldve bought a bottle of beer at a bar, it is so shit that if I have a time machine I would go back in time right away... anyways just wanted to see a horror film..gave it a shot..full of regrets
Frankenstein - fell asleep in the theatres after the first 25-30 mins...friend just woke me up when the credits in the end was showing...that was a damn good nap though..

Thor 2 - IMO of all the superhero movies, Thor is one of the weakest in terms of story line and what not. Never really liked the first one. It was alright, but nothing compared to The Dark Knight or Man of Steel.
Thor2 continues in that tradition. It's alright, but nothing great.
Blue Jasmine - A typical Woody Allen flick. Does get you thinking about situations though. Pretty good movie.
Rising Sun - I've always liked this movie. Kinda weird now to see Snipes with Connery. But the movie plays out nicely.
Enders Game - This movie took me by surprise. I had no idea what it was about. But I came away impressed! Really good flick.

The Wolf Of Wall Street. Awesome! Truely awesome although I do understand everyone who said the movie shoulda been titties and coke. But when you got all that money I guess it doesn't matter. Leonardo DiCaprio shows he is one of the best actors in the last 10 years just like he did in Django, Shutter Island, and The Departed.

Liberal arts. Ted from how I met your mother... plays an even bigger hipster at gutless sap. Slow movie. Couldn't figure out why I didn't turn it off and I realized its because the acting was alright and a lot of character development. . Just no climax or excitement. 4.5/10

Hangover 3. Love the trilogy (Zack Galifanakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms where can you possibly go wrong unless your a huge movie critic) and the fact they add John Goodman as the bad guy was great too.
Now You See Me. Girlfriend and her mom never saw it and I knew they would like it. She loved it and so do I. Although part of me always waits for Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson to start killing zombies. But the ending shocks you.
This Is The End. You got Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel going to a party at James Franco's house where Michael Cera is coked outta his mind getting slapped by Rihanna, Craig Robinson, Jonah Hill (who was the biggest douche ever) and everyone else from the Judd Apatow movies where you watch what would happen if the world ends from a celebrity point of view. Probably one of my favorite movies to date.
And finally Seven Psychopath's. Such a well made movie and makes you wonder what's going to happen next. Sam Rockwell kills his usual role as being a maniac (I don't think I've seen him as someone completely normal in movies) and Colin Farrell as an alcoholic (still picture him as the coke head dipshit son from Horrible Bosses) and Christopher Walken. Long movie but worth it.

Saw NFS last weekend, my buddy and I (both car guys) loved the movie. Our women on the other hand, seemed to think it was too predictable, and boring. I said how about we get those cars and go for a drive, and see if it's boring?

So envious of the actors. Aaron Paul said that all the driving scenes were done by them - little to no stunt doubles.
Didn't like the NFS movie too much. Personally, for me, they should have based the movie off their Most Wanted game. That game was basically configured like a movie and the game play fills in the blanks. The drama and the whole back story was okay and ruined it for me.
And you're telling me the Sesto Elements caught up to the Agera in less than 2 seconds at high speeds?
No.
Ford was smart though, Ford pick up truck, the Shelby dream car, and the last Ford Mustang. Great stealth marketing.
Does home front have any relevance to the game?

NFS - As expected, the typical "fast and furious" scene with not so many cheesy lines. Good marketing for Koenessige (however you spell it). Rest assure everyone with little to no knowledge about automobiles will be googling up their company and checking out their cars.
The only good thing about the flick is the English chick they used. Yummy!!! :)
47 Ronin - Went in not knowing a thing about it. It wasn't too bad. Good to see Keanu back at it.
the eagle from 2011..never could take channing tatum as a serious actor for this type of role but did a hell of job. Love watching movies set in ancient rome, greece, etc

Wolf of Wall Street - funny movie until the last ~20mins. Enjoyed it much more than American Hustle - I don't know what all the hype was about with that movie. 47 Ronin - curious about it when it made its rounds in theatres, but I didn't get the chance to see it then. Not a bad movie, but I was hoping for more supernatural aspects.
Next up, Snowpiercer and Her.
Pacific Rim - Bad movie, Mostly mediocre acting, but highly enjoyable spectacle. Great special effects and I was very entertained. 7/10 Mechwarrior vs Godzillas would be a more appropriate name.
Saving Mr. Banks - Movie about Walt Disney and the author of Mary Poppins. A good movie, well acted, but a little slow. Fiancee liked it. It was alright, not my first choice. 6.5/10
its funny, a movie doesn't have to be "good" to be an enjoyable movie. Some of the best movies are Horrible. Some of the most boring movies are amazing. I know thats hard to explain... some examples:
Evil Dead - so bad its good.
Kings Speech - Climax is a guy stuttering in a padded room, but ended up being a great movie.
Moon - drawn out, slow, lower budget, but makes you think. a decent movie.
Transformers - bad acting, bad casting, Bad Plot. Add some simple humor, a hot girl, an awkward hero and awesome special effects and you have an ENTERTAINING movie. Not a good movie at all.
Then there are movies which get it all wrong. lol
Its a weird formula, but there are a number of areas in which I can classify a movie as "entertaining" or "great" However, I feel like the most likely failure in my eyes is comedy/romantic Comedies. Examples: any New Adam Sandler movies. Eddie Murphy Movies, any movie my fiancee wants to go see....

Need for speed.
I admit I didn't think Aaron Paul was right for the role but he pulled it off. It was really entertaining and some of the shots in the car chases were amazing in 3D.
My favourite part overall was how good the audio sounded in the theater. The engines sounded fantastic and really brought the chases alive.
My only problem With the movie is I drove home Afterwards in a stock 2.0L lol. Great movie 9/10

Watched need for speed. Didn't think Aaron was right for the role at first but after watching it ,I was pretty surprised that it turned out so well. And it wasn't as bad as some of the scenes in fast and furious. I'd give it a 9/10
Watched World War Z as well... Decent movie
Went to Drive in with Megan. Captain America for me, Divergent for her.
Captain America - 8.5/10. Great action, great movie, but seemed to be lacking... something. I donno. Tony stark I guess. lol.
Divergent - HORRIBLE. the Books are a quazi decent cross between Harry Potter and Hunger Games as a book, but the Movie was horrible. Take a girl and put her in places and watch stuff happen around her. THe book had fights, broken bones, blood, hardship and hurt. the movie had 2 fake punches, no blood, and had horrible and bland acting and overall was weak. 1/10. (we almost left the drive in, but we had popcorn to finish)
I didn't mind Divergent at all. I had no idea what the movie was about so I went in with no expectations. Came out pleasantly surprised. Trying to be another Hunger Games and what not. The girl they chose.. wow! Alot of eye candy throughout the movie. :)
Captain America was great as well. Most of the comic book movies come out really well.
The Machine - British flick. Wasn't too bad. Better than I was expecting
The Physician - Really liked it. It was a bit slow sometimes. But interesting to see how life was like in 1032A.D.

I didn't say that it was bad, just that I was disappointed that it didn't have more monster on monster action. If it were more like Pacific Rim, except not as campy. Cranston only had a small role in the movie, but his time on screen was used effectively to get the movie rolling.
Not sure why they insist on using small arms fire on such huge monsters.
