Saw this at Mazda 3 Revolution. Wanted to share the photo since I know that no one in TM3 will mod their car like this one. Right?!

the whole basis of being a tuner started with getting a base platform and start modding it to your taste

it was very common for people to buy a ($500) rolling chassis and do complete interior ($1500), exterior ($3000) and motor swaps ($3000).
It was actually cheaper to go that route than buying a car because of motor alone.

Look at anybody that has put extensive mods into their car. At the end of the day - they could've bought a stock BMW or Mercedes.

I'm not a fan of lambo doors anymore, but how often are you driving around with them open?

Of course it looks ugly hella stock with lambo doors but like i said so many times it was free and i wasn't planning on keeping it stock like that. Take a look at her now after a years work and 5 sponsorships later along with taking home BEST MAZDA at the last show of the year. This pic is when the only mod on the car was lambo doors. Mod list after a year of working on her now is as such. Sparco Seats/harnesses, Oracle Angel Eyes, R1 Concepts Drilled and Slotted Rotors, Weapon R intake, Racing Beat Power Pulse Exhaust, Side Skirts with carbon fiber extensions, MZ Style Front lip, 18X9.5 +15 MB Battles all around, Megan Racing Coils, SPC camber arms, and plenty more to come this upcoming seasonhttp://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/414631_308380665932538_366944296_o.jpg. Even I admit the car looked funny with the doors when that was all that was on it. Then when i finally do log on i see a thread doing nothing but bashing on a pic of my ride from a year ago when it looks nothing like that now. Of course im gonna comment on it and at least show what it looks like now. I didn't give myself street cred much less do i care about street cred more like show cred if anything. I presented when my ride when it was bone stock with doors on dipped rims and coils. Sure hella peeps hated and bashed but then show after show everyone got to see her transform and started giving her respect. While not everyone likes the style they still respect it and the work that went into it. Its not like i just showed up fully modded and expected people to like or respect me in the show scene. You don't see me going and bashing on any of your rides just because I don't agree with the look or what you did to them. As far as street cred goes i could care less what i did get was friends who love cars just as much as I do and respect someones build regardless of how it turns out. I don't' expect anyone to like my build but at least be respectful and at the end of the day we are all car enthusiasts and mod our cars how we want to mod them because its what we enjoy doing.

Mod list after a year of working on her now is as such. Sparco Seats/harnesses, Oracle Angel Eyes, R1 Concepts Drilled and Slotted Rotors, Weapon R intake, Racing Beat Power Pulse Exhaust, Side Skirts with carbon fiber extensions, MZ Style Front lip, 18X9.5 +15 MB Battles all around, Megan Racing Coils, SPC camber arms, and plenty more to come this upcoming season Even I admit the car looked funny with the doors when that was all that was on it. But I can honestly say I now have one of the sickest 2nd gen 3 Sedans in all of Cali and the trophies, media, Sponsorships to back it up.

well... i dont see side skirts or carbon fiber extensions. i see the headlights, sparco seats and the front lip. less of course the rims. and it being so low presume you are on some form of coils. so more pics to show the rest of what you have installed would be cool to see. at least more recent with the side skirt pics. mind you i really think you could use some front fog lights. just looks like somethings missing up front.

to each there own on the lambo doors i dont care for them but adds to the "show factor" and good job for having a decent 2nd gen in cali, and sponsorships and the work you have put in and what not..i dont suppose there are many 3s down there? and whats on the agenda for this season?

I don't think any of this is directed to your BF. I think the main point here is Lambo doors on a 2010+ Mazda 3. The first few mods people usually do are tints, rims and maybe springs. His first mod is lambo doors.

As I mentioned, I commend him for putting up photos of a more complete car with trophies.

I started this thread ;) because it doesn't make sense IMHO to put lambo doors and it's definitely not my style. Especially as the first mod . I guess being different is good though.
