i got a cd stuck in my stock deck :/

Okay so i put a cd in had it for a couple days went to change it. Now the one thats in there wont come out it makes a ticking nose but if i hold the load button it will read and still play. Any one got any ideas on what i should do?:bang:bang 2010 mz3 gx thanks guys

is it a burnt cd or store purchased? ( they tend to not like burnt not sure why) best would be to go to the dealer. they would inspect and order a new one in. it can take a week or so to get becasue it doesnt come from mazda canada, and then they would send the cd back to the dealer for you. with it being a 2010 you should be covered with your warranty under your 3 year or 80 000 km coverage.

My guess: Some blank CD may be created not to spec (slightly too big/small, thick/thin, etc) due to cost-cutting. So they may be easier get stuck. Record companies usually use quality disc for their product.

Another cause may be that internally, the cd player is too dirty/dusty. And the rubber that grab the disc when eject is not sticky anymore.

don't use crap burned CDs
use ONLY brand name discs and burn at the slowest speed possible!

I dunno why everyone is going on about burned cd's I used them for years with zero problems. With that said, whenever I installed a sub in one of my friends 3's and he put in a disk (a legit one) to test the installation it got stuck as well with the same symptoms. We took the deck out, and played around (disassembled, pried things etc) for like 2 hours with no real luck. I think we managed to pry the disc out but i dont remember.
Anyhow half a week later it randomly started working again, no explanation.

doesn't matter... the CD players themselves are pretty much the same across all mazdas mechanically
