Broken trany mount

I replace the passenger side motor mount and took the car for a short test drive and what i thi nk is the driver side tranny mount let go. The driverside axle pulled out and the motor is siting forward. Any body else been throught this?

that's exactly what happened
it's not common (for non-mazdaspeeds) but it has happened

did you hear any abnormal clicking prior to this happening? Is your rear mount upgraded by any chance.
