Question about ac compressor

if i cut the ac compressor belt will it affect anything besides the air conditioning?

No. It wont affect anything else.

mine blew and i got quoted 700$ to replace it so i just want to cut the belt till i have the money

the A/C sucks anyways. the only time i ever used it, was on the highway, and even then, i usually had the windows down instead.
