going to install a 4ga kit. Is there any empty un-used rubber grommet i can use or do modify 1 in use? also shud i drill tru the firewall?

is there a commonly used location to run the power wire?

There is a rubber grommet that is used on the passenger side. There are wires running through it, but since it is such a big grommet, you can easily punch a hole through it to run your wire. The grommet ends up behind the glove box, so you will have to remove the glove box to get access to the grommet from the inside.

what length of pwr wire dis u use? is the 17 feet enough?

This is a good kit and 18feet should be more than enough.

As for the firewall, like said the gromet on the passanger side behind the glove box has a little rubber nipple of to the side of all existing wiring. just cut that and run the wire through

i ran mine by the clutch pedal if i can remember, but definately on the drivers side, same side as the battery in the engine bay as well!
