Spotted this the other night at Sobeys, Laird/Eglinton. Now I know it lives in the area as it was outside the reception hall of my cousin's wedding last year as well on Don Mills Road.

Not a cow catcher, just an elderly person who has depth perception problems when parking

Ive seen that car a few times. I've seen the driver of that car. A younger Asian woman ( late 20's) with a 50 ish male ( father?) in the passenger seat. Always the same people in the car.

Perfectly capable? With all those dings on the bars?

That makes me even more afraid :(

Ya I stayed far away.
I'm honestly after seeing that car like a dozen times.

That should be illegal. If it's properly mounted to the frame, it's "bypassing" the crash structure built into the car, making it dangerous for pedestrians and other motorists. It's dangerous.

(Selfish bastards...)

I don't get it. I mean sure, if its to protect your car from others or from you banging into things I can see the point, but that also means you're a really crappy driver and should a) actually be getting better making the bars unnecessary or b) just give up and take transit.

Reminds me of those grab bars you see in the wheelchair accessible toilets. Seeing the age of the driver/registered owner, I'm not surprised.

Maybe one family? Was he Asian. ( not trying to be horrible but how else should I describe them. )

How old is elderly? Could it be the 50'ish male I saw? Asian people age well so maybe he was older.

not surprised.
I heard of that stereotype with corollas too. That explains when I drive beside a car they are trying to be far away from me as much as possible. And yet when I see another beige Asian car they stick to me like glue..

Hey you know that they say....old people park using their sense of "touch." So as soon as buddy feels his train track bumper tap a neighbouring car, he knows he's safe to make the next move in the parking maneuver.

The best part is... he only has to worry about denting one car - YOURS :chuckle
