Get RX-8 rims, I don't think you could get it for under $500 though.

I don't get what it is with you guys an RX-8 rims. Why so popular?
for $500 you can get rx8 rims with tires but the wont have tread left, if any.

inexpensive, oem quality, relatively light, simple and timeless design.

for $500 and oem it is (21lbs). thats why i said relative, lighter than speed wheels and anything you could find for under a grand.
hell if you can find anything lighter and as wide or wider, under a grand, let me know because im looking to buy.

Also, RX-8 rims are a half inch wider than MS3 wheels, so that may also factor into their increased popularity.
Good luck on your search OP, I don't know how much threadlife you expect the tires on the rims to have but I'd say for $500 you're likely looking at next to bald tires coming with them if the rims are in half decent condition.
EDIT - I was only referring to Gen1 MS3 rims...I believe the made the Gen2 rims as wide as RX-8 rims (except they're significantly heavier).
