so I'm using the Hankook ipike for the second season and it does not seem as grippy as when first installed. Was talking to Kelvin of import tuning and he seems to feel the same about his too. Any others?

I don't notice it that much, still pretty good in the snow. But on wet they are losing a bit of grip.

Yup, the grip in snow seems to have decreased dramatically. I still have very good tread on the tires but they definitely do not perform anywhere near how it was when new.

The grip in every condition has decreased. However, that being said the grip is still good. I've had the tires for 4 to 5 years now.

As the tread depth of winter tires decrease, their ability to evacuate snow and reach down to the pavement also decrease. My Hankook iPike w409s (near the end of their second season this year) will last one more season before I'll have to replace them (I also do a fair bit of driving on the weekends between Toronto and Waterloo). The back tires still have plenty of tread and I'll use those as the front tires next season.

In other words, expect 3 - 4 good seasons out of them.

Same here. There is almost no tread wear for me, and I've been treating these things like babies since I got them.

Not gonna get Hankook iPikes again.
