Hi guys,
Hope this is in the right place to post this thread. I am looking for storage bags for my winter wheels and tires package. I have seen on amazon and ebay and they start from $40 to $90 + shipping for all 4 storage bags. but the quality and the design seems to very cheap.
I asked the Canadian tire my area (brampton) and they didnt have any in stock. so wanted to have your input in this regard. Any places or websites or experience in buying these storage bags.
Any help is appreciated.

Costco had/has them. Not sure about the quality of the bags, but they will fit rims (with tires) up to 18" in diameter.

Most are made by the same company. The Costco ones are solid, and even better when on sale.
They only have them at certain times of the year tho so you might want to go check it out.

Were they good? i doubt it. its just that i want them to be stored in the garage so just need a cover to avoid scratches etc.

Yup! That's where I got my set! Made from your typical tarp material, but in grey colour. Black carrying straps/handles, with velcro closings. I believe they're packaged to say up to 17", but recall the discussion around them at the time when I purchased saying that most 17s were a very tight fit. So the safer bet was they fit only up to 16". This was 2 winters ago I think. I've only tried 14s in mine so far.

More often then not I just use oversize garbage bags, usually they are big enough to fit and have enough room to tie as well

What's wrong with a stand? I use a stand that came with a cover for the entire thing.

The $20 Canadian Tire brand I got doesn't seem sturdy to me. Maybe it is - but I just this feeling it's going to tip over one day and either smack my car or ruin my rims.

I believe the OP was looking for the Tote storage bags.
Personally I use a stand but for some, they have to lug the tires up/down for storage and perhaps they want the storage bags with a handle.

I bought these last year. They are ok but the handles are useless. The elastic stretches when you carry it from the handle. I just bought them to have something covering the wheels. But for $15 its worth it.

Thanks for input guys,
I am defo gona take a look at the bags. For the stand I would have to remove the hub caps (which mine are already in a breaking away state) so I want to avoid it. once i get the tote bags, i will just cover it up with the car covers cloths that come.
thanks once again for the input..i wil be stopping by costco tomorrow to search for alternatives, will get back to you guys :)
