So today, after i pumped some gas, my car would not start up.
When i tried to crank it, all i heard were clicks, while the speedometer needles were going haywire.
Only by boosting it we managed to start the car. Drove it for 3 mins then parked in my driveway, but again it wont start up.
All electronics in the car work, just wont turn over.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Alternator is not working, and therefore not charging the battery.

I did not get a rebuild, I just purchased new.
boost the car and take it to jims have him look at it before you start spending money on parts you dont need

Go to Ararat on Midwest (Midland & Ellsmere)
Pull your old alternator out and bring it to them for the core deposit.

okay, after a 2nd boost (which was a bit of a struggle to start), car is running normal :S
But after 2nd boost, there were some problems, like when i turned the wheels, the power drained down but came back, same thing when i turned the Hids on.
After a few power cycles, and after the speedometer went crazy again, I turned the car off. Went to start it back up, and everything worked normally....
Its now starting on its own, and no power cycles. Everything is functioning normally.
Dont get whats going on, but to be safe im going to leave the car at home and take sisters car to school.
Will be taking it in on thursday

Your best bet is to leave it alone for tonight and try starting it up tomorrow morning again.

may be a bad/loose ground somewhere or a vaccuum leak. Maybe the MAF wire stretched?
No CEL's?
is the speedo jumping around or the RPM?

Update:
Batt is less then a year old. No CELS, no speedo jumping.
Batt, and Alt were tested, and both showed normal good results.
and the car works perfectly now.....:/ o well

Same thing happened to me one day after a heavily rain storm...except the car shut off while I was driving and I had the speedo going crazy when I tried to crank it after as well. I went back to that spot where I left the car a few hours later to try and replicate the event for my dad and she fired back up perfectly 5x in a row and has worked perfectly since.

Sounds like this may be the culprit, even though your running fine now; I'd still suggest checking all MAIN connections, mainly battery and starter connections. To be absolutely sure remove, clean and reinstall all connectors then throw some grease on them. A clicking starter can be caused by a dead battery, starter solenoid or bad connections, not much else.

make sure battery terminals aren't corroded and they're nice and tight
if that's good, then the battery is bad
driving for 3 minutes DOES NOT recharge a battery... and in fact, driving around to recharge a discharged battery is a BAD IDEA... it puts a heavy load on the alternator, which kills it
either get it properly recharged with a real battery charger, or replace the battery... much cheaper than new alternators!
