I'm totally foreign to this type of thing, but I recently acquired a Blaupunkt ODw1200hd 12" Shallow subwoofer.
My thought was to remove the cargo tray in my hatch and replace it with a sealed enclosure for the sub (plus wood floor).

I need to know whether or not the dimensions for a sealed or ported box would be the same as a standard subwoofer. Any AV gurus please chime in :D

Specs on the sub are found here: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-7mt0x5sfkaE/p_023OD1200/Blaupunkt-ODw1200.html#details-tab

The recommended volume for that sub is 1 cu ft, according to the spec sheet. Is that what you are asking?

in my experience the bigger the box the harder it will pound
