I did one rim as a test and now I'm stuck. I like both but I can't decide...
Any inputs?
Left: black face, white lip. All plastidip.
Right: original hypersilver finish.

Hmm, the one to the left looks ok. Although, I'd keep the silver lip. :)

A. Left because its something diff.
B. because Right is getting over played

Both look great. I'd go with the hypersilver finish. Set up a poll!

Out of the two without knowing how it will look on your car I'd say hypersilver as the black ones look cheap.

Thanks for the input. I continued onto another rim and I'm getting this...

Random orange specks. I have used a wheel cleaner on all of them but only two rims are showing these symptoms. So it can't be the wheel cleaner... wtf could this be?

I like silver even tough the black is not bad but the white lip is toooo big and not foun of white it will be dirty all the time. Try different lip colour on top of black :)

My project has turned into a nightmare. I got a power washer to remove the plastidip and now there's some left on the wheel and I can't seem to get it off, even with a brush....

In the last pic, it looks like some of the hyper silver paint came off. Or is that just the lighting?

This is why I now hate plastidip. I had the same problem and had to sand it off...

It was the third coat when I realized something was wrong and washing it off and starting over was the only option.

It's just the florescent lighting in my garage.

I read that Goo-gone should be able to get the remaining bit off. I'm going to try it on my next day off...

I had that.
I applied more so that it could peel off like a bandage.
