Hey Guys,

I just bought a set of LED tails for my 06 sedan. They come in 4 pieces, the first two I managed to get into the car. But the outer two have different connectors than what I can connect to.
I've done some searching and apparently you have to splice into the harness. I'm just not sure what cable would go where.

Pic's below.

The grey clip is the issue on the stock connection.

Any help would be greatly apreciated! I was so excited to get the lights in :(

Are they OEM LED tails or aftermarket?

Remove the bulb socket from the stock light. Just turn and pull. Remove bulb by pulling out of socket. Replace the bulb with connector on the new light. Plug back into the harness-

The plug doesn't connect to harness period. This light eliminates the stock stop light bulb. The signal light works fine, but the harness doesn't work with the stock one.

Theo, take this out:

You will see a bulb attached to it, where the bulb is currently sitting, that is where you connect the black connector you are holding in the pictures. There is no splicing required.

That black connector is the same as the connector on a stock bulb, it is designed to plug into the stock connector.

You're welcome.

Make sure the pins on the black connector line up with the pins in the bulb connector. Sometimes on aftermarket products they are on the opposite sides. If that's the case, just simply (and very gently) bend them over to the correct sides.

Also might need to turn it 180 degrees to make sure the polarity is correct.

I was gonna say, I have these and installed them myself no problem, I didn't remember having this problem at all!

Glad it worked!

Installed and working great! Thanks guys for helping me out so quickly!

All I had to do was take out the bulb and plug into there, really simple, just never crossed my mind!

Thanks again all!
