Been looking around to make the 3 more wide with the RX8 rims.
Saw this guys and wondering about it http://www.suremotorsports.com/products/performance/standoffs/ Thinking in buying 4x 5mm spacers.
Running on 225/40/18 with stock suspension.
Thought?
Thanks.

I dont think 5mm will make a noticeable difference.
10mm on the other hand will show more

How wide are rx8's? 7.5 right?
And stock height?
My thoughts
5 mm = No difference really
10 mm = http://image.jpmagazine.com/f/17016391+w750+st0/154_0904_04_z+readers_wheeling_pictures+1998_wrang ler.jpg
rx8 is 8 width. 10mm universal spacers in the back will do the trick (cheap too). getting the correct tuner bolts, you will probably need them, for proper seating (oem wheel) might be difficult though.

Upon learning that they are 8", it's not such a bad idea.
Why not put a set of prokits on?

Thinking about it but not sure about stock will handle prokits for awhile. Waiting on my current struts and shocks to be worn out. Then get some yellow or KYB.
