Also if you do plan on meeting people. I suggest that you arrange a meeting spot beforehand. I couldnt find barely any members until I just happened to walk by Hyperion standing near his car ( too me a few seconds to recognize the car :chuckle )


also we should show up earlier so we can get a little "tm3" area instead of everyone being all over the place. I saw a lot of members but didnt actually meet them in person.... just saw their cars. Not to mention that everyone's cars was all over the place.

I went for the first time last week. I can see how it would be a blast when you have some friends there. Endless rows of cars to critique. However yes there is lots of revving going on; personally I don't care, I'm not a show off so I wouldn't be doing that myself. Did enjoy hearing the lambo rev lol!

Coming from the small cities of Kitchener-Waterloo it's pretty crazy, actually felt a bit nervous and considered leaving before I even parked. Heard all sorts of cars racing around the area, squealing tires, etc etc. Constant hum of bass is pretty weird too.

Overall it was cool and if I lived in the area I'd always be down to go but my patience already runs thin with the drive to and from Toronto, let alone the stupid slow line up to get in. Plus I don't want to get hit by idiots driving around like maniacs.

last time was my first time too and I felt really nervous about leaving my car alone in such an enviroment. Heck, nearing midnight, I moved my car on 2 separate occasions so I could keep track of my car/ hear or see if anyone does shit to it. As for entering/exiting, There was a bit of a lineup to get in but on the way back ( me and my brother / his friends spent the last few min near the TOYS R US ) there was no rush ( I guess everyone didnt want to get stuck in a traffic jam on the way out... but the early leavers were the ones that got stuck in a lineup :P ).


Also I did not see much "Police presence" at this meet. I was expecting quite a few officers walking around to make sure everyone was well behaved. But none of that happened and I only saw one officer sitting near the exit. If more officers means less douchebaggery and a more safer enviroment.... then I for one would welcome officers to the meet.

Its still a longer distance on highways and we still have a bit of city driving to do. Now if i was living in the same place as I used to 5 years ago ( granted that area was sketchy as crap with all the drug dealing going on ), it would be a 10 min drive on city streets.

they left because they were afraid some idiot would bash into their cars and wreck them... and the fact that people would want to touch their cars.... which is a big no no at meets but people still do it.


Im worried more about someone accidently hitting my car. This is why I like cars and coffee more... sure there are less cars but everyone there is waaaay more respectful... and the people who normally do the stupid crap are usually sleeping during that event so they couldnt be bothered with waking up early and going to the event :P

very rarely do poeple hit in a meet, never in ertefa if i believe, unlike parking lots during the day my cars been hit and run and so has many others, at least if you do get hit in ertefa theres so many people the guys isnt gonna get away

For example when you come early and the stores are still open and operating we disturb their business. This WILL create problems for us and it could cause the owners of the stores complaining and we will have NO other choice but to cancel and find another location!

Finding a big Parking Lot that can accommodate all of us and still remain fairly central is almost impossible. It's important that we all understand this and together as a community prevent anything happening to this location. We organize and put this meet together for you all to come out and enjoy for FREE.

For this new location DO NOT COME BEFORE 10PM. Remember the plan is to come out and have fun for a few hours! It doesn't matter where you're parked your car is still in the meet!

By the way we have a BIG surprise for you this week so make sure you come out! The meet is from 10pm-midnight!

That's unfortunate, we try our best to maintain and keep it under control. We do things like that so that people understand that it is not safe to do a burnout and rip it past a crowd of people. We will be having officers present for our next meets to control the chaos when everyone leaves. Thanks for the support anyways, we always appreciate you guys coming out every week !

Your right I was kinda aggressive but thats because I felt I was being singled out for no real reason. I was following the directions and rules of the event staff. When I was instructed to move ahead I accelerated a little hard but I did NOT peel out, squeal my tires, rev my engine excessively or speed, and that's when the guy jump in front of my car and told me to stop while he snapped pictures.

Listen the event is cool don't get me wrong but it's not worth losing my license, getting tickets or worse... and I understand they have been kicked out of previous lots but there has got to be a better way of doing things. They can't have staff jump in front of moving vehicles or "doing what they want" as the one staff member said to me.

It was a good turn out. And overall everyone behaved. Which is surprising since there are a ton of people everywhere. The last thing you can do is accelerate fast out of the parking lot. You can risk someone getting hit or crashing into another car.
It is absolutely impossible to control everyone everywhere. There will be people who think their machine is the best thing since sliced bread and will attempt to demonstrate it as much as possible.

I don't bother bringing my car to these things because there are all sorts of people around and there will be other machinery there which eclipse my ride. But mainly because if you want to be at the centre of attention, you're going to be in a huge crowd. And these people will bump, scratch, dent your vehicle. You basically have to guard your ride throughout the entire event. That's no fun.

As for the vid, no one captured what really happened. All we're seeing is the guys attempting to put a stop to all the foolishness while leaving.

1. I know you were pissed, but if you're going to video record something, please try to record it in the proper aspect. Nothing more annoying than viewing a vid completely in portrait mode. I saw it throughout the entire nite and it really ticks me off. I'm sure there are more than a few people who would like to see the vid on their tv.

2. If you go to the next meet, attempt not to "accelerate quickly" anywhere.

3. This is their gig so they should have some say on what goes on. Sadly sometimes they've got to make an example of someone. Think of it the same as getting pulled over by the police. You were passed by 2 other cars going much quicker, but you were the one the police can see at nite. So he pulls you over. I know it's stupid, but that's how the dice are rolled sometimes. Don't take it personal.

Your little hard acceleration may have been enough to set them off. Sure maybe the defense they put up was not that admirable but your being pissed off probably let them feel the need to be aggressive.

Either way, sucks this happened but like I said before, they try REALLY hard to lay down authority because they have to uphold their agreement with the place they ask.

Well it's probably because it's the most convenient for a lot of people. School, work etc etc. I appreciated Ertefa cause it was something to do and it wasn't really out of the way.. It was nice for a bit until they attracted the Rev hungry burnout addicts.

Apart from having HID's in my old 3 - the car was pretty much street legal. So I wouldn't have given two shits if they took pictures of my license plate. I wouldn't have listened to them to get out - or to go park somewhere else. And I wouldn't have been as nice as you were in that video.

But nowhere as busy as it was last week.
I don't know if its you guys who call them up, or they just read the website, but both a Lambo dealer rep and Tesla were on display last week. Tesla is a very nice marque to have at such an event. And it showed seeing as about 6-7 actual owners showed up.
The Aventador was just the cherry on top.
Don't get me started on the "girls". :)
Having the "Got A$$" girls show up always draws more attention to the event. I think even the Import Fest girls showed up last week. And generally alot more unique rides showed up last week.

Yesterday, the main marque that showed up was "Scion". Well, it's not all that great of a marque. Entry level Toyotas never get the heart pumping, if you know what I mean.
But at least they tried.

A few Supras and a few NSX's were the stars of the show. Besides the usual low riders that show up and leave their rides all contorted.
Around 10:25pm or so, some guys in a ruby coloured SL and blue candy colour Godzilla show up. They would've gotten a good crowd going, but someone had to park them into a corner where they were out of sight. :(

I don't know.. the vibe was different last nite as opposed to the previous week. Or even the week before that. I think the last 2 weeks prior to yesterday were really good. Good vibe. Got to talk to a few good gearheads.
