i bought some LED Strips that i plan to install on my headlights and im not 100% sure how im going to install them. i have a HID xenons installed and the wires to the headlight are different cause o fit.
i plan to have the LED strips only be on when the headlights are on and not on all the time.
heres a couple pictures of the wiring for the headlight.

i cant edit my post apparently so i need to post a reply.
i forgot to add that as u can see in teh pic the headlight is connected to 2 black wires which lead the the HID box thing.
now the strips themselves have simply a +ve and -ve wire. soooo is 1 of the black wires +ve and other -ve (on the headlight wires)? if so how do i tell which is +ve and whch is -ve? i think i followed the wires and 1 leads toa red and 1 to a blue (or green forget) wire.
i want to make 100% sure im connecting the strips the right way.

Wheb the hids were installed were they installed with a relay? When you turn on the headlights do they come on with just the parking light feature or do they come on only when the headlights are supposed to be on?

Well there's 2 square boxes for each headlight and the 2 wires from the box are basically the 2 that go into headlight not sure if that a relay or not It my daytime running lights don't work anymore after he hid conversion only time they work is when I turn the headlights on and of course high beams work. Daylight running lights don't work

before you go tapping in to things please post a pic of these boxes you are referring to. My opinion this sounds like the ballasts you are referring to. the 2 wires going to the bulb you will NOT want to tap in to. Please post a pic

That is in fact the xenon ballast. You will want to find the power and ground wire for that unit for your led's. The other box thatyou are referring may be your igniter for the ballast. The original pic you have I see a white and a black wire what do those lead to?

I think those 2 wires are the ones that lead t the highbeams I'd have to double check
