I have a 2010 Mazda 3 GT-E with 100 000 km and was wondering if you guys had to spent for repairs yet?
Like replacing brakes or replacing any part that was out of warranty?

apart from routine maintenance - brake fluid flushes, transmission fluid replacements, and yearly services i had my drivers seat base replaced as it was making noise, but nothing strange.

My 09 GT needed a new starter a week after I bought it this past February. Dealer replaced it for free.

for the headlight frosting you need to switch to led drl bulbs or the problem will reoccur in the future.

common problems that i have had fixed:
-dash cowl rattle
-window rattle (when its down)
-noisy drivers seat

still needs to be fixed:
-hatch rattle (latch?)

2011 Sport GT with 7100 kms and so far the horn has been replaced along with both rear suspension struts. The strut replacement though has not fixed the rattle in the rear. I am currently driving around with all interior trim removed in an effort to identify it seeing as the dealer could not.

2010 Mazda 3 GT with 65000km and so far I have only replaced the headlights through warranty because they were frosting. My front rotors are warped and need to be replaced but i have been putting it off. Has anyone noticed random revving in the manual version when coming to a stop or clutching in? I get it every now and then and i know I'm not tapping the gas. The engine will rev to about 5000rpm stick for a bit then come back down. Ask the dealer but they have no clue what I'm talking about.

Why have you needed to do 3 alignments over the last 8 months?

i ask myself the same thing... the car didn't go straight until the last alignment and tire balancing.

I've also had an Allignement done , but I don't consider that has a ''repair'' since it is a pretty common thing to do every few years .

I can finally say the rattle from the left rear end appears to be resolved. The dealer had to remove all the plastic interior panels to identify exactly what it was but it seems to be fixed. The wiring harness that goes between the wheel well and the interior panel was rattling around. They re-attached it, insulated it and all now seems to be well.

the only time i feel my clutch ''sticking'' is when the temperature is really cold outside

He means hear it clicking, not feel it sticking.

My first gen clutch pedal clicks sometimes and it's slightly annoying, but I just proceed to either drive faster or turn the music up and drown it out. I have clutch issues either I think it's something from the pedal build style/quality.

I have a whistling noise coming from under the front hood when the car is idle...I have had it for 2 months with about 5K on it...is this normal as the new engine is breaking in?

2010 GX - Had some grinding of gears on the manual transmission at times when changing from 1st to 2nd gear or into reverse so I took the vehicle in to get checked. It seems that there is a problem with the synchro but fortunately this is covered under warranty and being repaired. Just waiting to find out if they are doing a rebuild or installing new parts.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but how did you fix you windows rattle?? did you tighten the bolts and nuts inside?

I have same problem by dealer already tighten stuff once and the rattle is back again...so annoying :D

Mine clicks too , I wonder if I should check it out , you can especially hear the clicking noise when i release the clutch pedal slowly to let the first gear go by itself (not giving the car any gas)
