Just wondering if i am being pushed off here...
I had ordered some H8 LED bulbs from Garage 16 but it seems i was sent H11 bulbs, sent rick a message and he said that the H8 and H11 were the same. is this correct? the H11 that i was sent dont seem to fit in My DRLs as one of the tabs is too large as can be seen in the picture.

I'm assuming you have a second gen Mz3. Regardless, they should be the same. I think your issue is (and other members have had this problem too) is that the LED tip (if you will) is too large to fit inside the DRL hole. I'm assuming you can't even get it past the top of the bulb into the housing. What you can do is sand away the top circuit board away without going too far to shave off the solder point (which I've read of other members doing).

H8 and H11 are in a sense the same. But if you have H11 socket, you'll have to modify the H8 bulb to fit. Vice versa.

ok this is what i was wondering, so because i was sent the H11 it would have to be modified to fit in the H8 slot....
I guess i will have to get the right part sent to me then as i dont feel i should have to modify a part because i was sent the wrong one.
