So i have a arc 2500xxk (long amp) sitting around that i want to install into my 2007 ms3. Only catch is i cant cover that anchor hooks on the back of the seats (I have 2 baby seats install in the car) and I dont think it will fit under the passanger seat.

Looking for some creative not too difficult ideas here.

thanks
Bran

Behind the sub box if you have one or on the top of the trunk like aris.

thanks jackel,
Its a hatchback so the trunk roof mount is out, but the sub box may work but i would rather have the amp on the floors or maybe on the side of the trunk.

There is the method of building a fake floor

But you could also, and depending on the size of the amp get some extreme velcro and slap it on the sides. I did this for another member on here and it looked good and has held on till this day.

under the carpet is a plastic piece where tools are held like the wheel wrench at one point i had mine mounted in there just depends on if it would fit or not make sure it not having to overwork too because its more likely to over heat in the summer

Its a big amp. Dimensions:18"L x 8"W x 3.35"H Weight: 18 lbs I am thinking even the 12" sub box won't fit.

I think there might be space on the back of the seat between the left and right anchor hooks. But then the amp will have to be mounted across 2 sections of the rear folding seats.

If you don't mind waiting it out a bit for the product to arrive, I'd SERIOUSLY consider using double-sided velcro to attach the amp to the back of your seats without drilling any holes or anything.

Impressive, what is the product again? I will consider it.

I never used any myself but it's just double-sided velcro which is available for cheap off eBay. I have seen setups with it and they look and hold up just fine.

I dunno how well it'd fit, but I built a small 'shelf' for mine and put it where the stock sub used to be. Fit great...

mount it to the backside of the hatch - will involve taking off the hatch door panel, some long wires, and some fabrication work to re-do the panel
i know not too realistic - but it will be out of sight, out of the way and will look pretty sick IMO

Attach the hook side to the amp and it'll stick to the seats forever and ever, amen.

Post up pics if you get this working. I have put this on the backburner for a while now, need to finish my install.
