Why would they cause any problems?
Do you have an HID kit with ballasts are just halogen bulbs?

If it's not a 35w kit I wouldn't use it with my fogs. Post a picture of the bulbs, or the packaging if you can since I'm not familiar with putco to be honest.

heres the package for the high beams it says 65w but it could be different due to them being fogs.. but if there 35w there safe to use? so far so good with the putco's good color match and good pricehttp://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb411/bosshammy1/EastHants-20120415-00046.jpg( those are the lights that were replaced)

They run at higher than stock recommendation wattage. You run the risk of burning your connections up due to the wattage of your bulbs being over that of factory capacity. I had Lamin-X on my fogs with stock bulbs, and even at 55w the halogens caused my film to essentially melt onto my foglight. HIDs run at 35w so they don't get as hot as halogens do, or for that matters those lights would

Don't buy bulbs just buy a full HID kit.
Pick one up from eBay off quality1auto - that's my best suggestion.
Running them without film still puts you at risk of melting the wiring since the bulbs themselves will get extremely hot. I'm not saying it's bound to happen, but it technically could happen.

LED dogs are strictly for looks as in they reflect absolutely ZERO light onto the road. If you have money, just get that HID kit for your fogs...its direct plug and play so wiring will be a cakewalk and I bet you'll be significantly happier with them as opposed to bulbs or LEDs
