My drivers side window goes down fine but sometimes it doesn't want to go back up. After reading about this issue a bit, it seems like the problem can be with the window switch. Seems like this is a common problem in this vehicle.
How can I check to confirm this is the problem before buying a new/used switch?
Is there a guide I can reference to replace this switch?
2004 Mazda 3 2.0L sedan
Thanks.

Check for voltage at the connector. You should have 12 volts and a ground.
But, if it only works one way, I can almost guarantee its the switch.

OK so I'm going to assume that the problem is the switch and buy a new switch.
1) Is there a guide on how to replace the switch? I heard I may not have to remove the whole door panel to do so.
2) Is this the correct part? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/04-05-06-07-08-09-MAZDA-3-LEFT-ELECTRIC-DOOR-WINDOW-SWITCH-/110842225279?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19ceb6227f Or is there somewhere better in Toronto to buy this part?
Thanks.

im not 100% sure, as my mazda had manual windows/locks, but i beleive the switch just pops out.
your best bet is to see Joe @ mazda of toronto. he's the parts guy.
