Hey guys, here are some mock images of LED light strip placement locations. Which of them seem like they look good and which look awkward? I am having a hard time deciding how I want to place them and I don't want to cut them before then :chuckle

I am currently leaning towards Style 4. What do you think?

p.s. This is just some image I found online, I do have a license plate :chuckle

IMO.
I like 1 or 2

I just don't think shapes will work out the way you want. Unless there is no way to screw it up.

I would do either 1 or 2. Not really liking the look of the others

I prefer style 2. TBH, I don't know how you're gonna put the LEDs when you attempt Style 1. The rest of the options look tacky.

Have you thought about putting them in that spot at the very bottom? Take another look at the front, there is an opening about 1/2" x 6-8" on either side. It's the same as on my 2012. Try it there and post another pic. I think it would look better in that area because it almost looks as if it was made for that spot. I bet you go with it there ;)

Would these be permissible as a DRL? I am thinking of having them always on since the colour will be essentially the same as my HIDs (I think). The yellow halogens just don't look right anymore, but I don't want to switch out my stock DRLs for LEDs because I want to keep my highbeams for when I go up north.

Decisions...

I think I'm feelin them down there overall, in fact I think they were MADE to go in there imo. But I Don't know if they'd be good as a drl, however, the loaded to the tits Mercedes http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B004DKGJYY/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=15684181&s=automotive ...that are I have seen around here have that as a drl....why not ;) And they are also down low on the bumper as well.

Style 6 seems to work best based on all the choices that you have.

1 or 2 are the only ones I would personally do to my car if I had a Gen2 sans fogs, therefore I vote for either of them.

Try setting up a poll to get more responses.
