Okay so I have headlights with Angel Eyes & OEM HIDs, however, after Ridgeway Automotive wired up my Angel Eyes (they did a great job), I noticed that the HIDs in my headlights didn't turn on after about a week of having the AEs wired up. I took the car over to a local place here in hopes of them checking out my wiring to see if it was the wiring job that was screwed up or if I needed a new HID kit. When I got there, they took my car in and noticed immediately that they weren't turning on because of the wiring so I had them rewire my headlights for me. Here's where the issue starts...
I don't think buddy was actually listening to me when I was talking to him because I told him that Ridgeway had SPECIFICALLY wired my AEs through my ignition so that they would function as permanent DRLs, while my HIDs in the headlights and fogs would stay set to auto and be off with the relay harness by day and both functional by night fall. He instead wired up my AEs to my headlight switch (WTF?) so now I have to turn them on manually along with my headlights every time.
I made this video showing me playing with the lighting switch on my car demonstrating how faulty they are. The noises in the video are from me pulling and releasing the parking brake (which is also when my lights will flicker). Also, during the video there's a period where I have just my AEs on with my fogs, which means the HIDs themselves are failing, as I don't have an independent fog mod and shouldn't be capable of turning my fogs on without turning my headlights on as well.
I'm pretty sure he wired them up to the parking brake somehow but I'm still wondering as to why they won't function properly. The shop told me that I needed to get a capacitor to regulate the voltage for my HIDs however I am also fairly sure that the wiring they did is garbage. My passenger side foglight is also out at the moment so it driving at night with no headlights and one fog is pretty much out of the question (I live near the boonies = no street lights)
If anyone has any suggestions as to what may be causing my issues with the headlights I'd greatly appreciate if you could share them :)
Here's the video

P.S - Chris (RidgewayAutomotive), if you're reading this, please know I'll be coming back to see you guys soon to put an end to this nonsense.
