I am looking into getting my calipers painted before the end of this month, and I need help choosing a place to get them done.

Any suggestions for places and how much would it cost?

Im sure someone will be on you soon for asking a common question :P lol
But both sponsors SimplyTire and JR auto concepts off the top of my head do them. JR does them for $55 which i think is the cheapest i've seen.

edit* i see where the mix up is now lol, simply tire does them for $100, however they usually do a summer special for around 75~85 (dont quote me on that), JR does the $55 painting

Do it yourself! Screw paying someone else to do it... you'll need it redone in a year or two anyway.

I've always used the caliper spray paint and it stays looking awesome all year, but I figure this spring I'll try painting with a brush kit. $20 maybe, $30 at the most.

So 30 bucks plus at least an hour-two hours of my time, not to mention I don't really have a spot to dry them...55 seems fair?

It's all about quality for painting calipers. If they aren't done correctly you will be painting them again next season.

Mine could last maybe 2 or 3 seasons, I'm just picky (maybe the designer in me) and prefer a fresh coat over cleaning off winter salt and brake dust :P I also enjoy working on my car so 2 hours of my time on a weekend is nothing for me.

I suppose $55 is fair if you don't have a driveway to let your car sit for an hour or two.

What does having a speed3 have to do with painting your calipers?

You can do it in your driveway as well for ~$20 if you're inclined enough.

Cause a regular 3 doesn't have Caliper coolant so the painted calipers will catch on fire. This is the number one cause of death of Mazda owners. :chuckle

You should paint little cat heads like your avatar on them, that would look awesome!

As was written below $55 at JR Auto. PM them to confirm if you'd like. Unless you're way outside of the GTA.

Absolutely nothing, lol, I was just looking into speed3s when I made that post. I'd paint my calipers on my gx but I'm still on steelies for now so it'd be pointless.

just a heads up, when you paint the caliper, take out the hold down spring and cover the holes where the spring goes to
