Hi... I know there are threads about this already but I can't seem to find anyone that has the same issue that I have. :/

I've noticed these water spots on top of the lens. Is this normal? Are the tail lights loose?

Thanks!

The quality of the photo is poor. But the water is inside not outside the plastic.

Looks normal to me.
The water is trapped between the lens and the body panel

Is it because the tail light is loose? (I recently had them removed and vinyled)

Or do all 2010+ Mazda3 exhibit this?

Thanks!

Rust? In that area? Too early to tell for 2010+ models. But as Default User said, looks normal and it's just water between the body and lens. I can't remember, but I think the lens might have a small rim on the back there, giving that image of water underneath.

Its normal. Might be an issue if its staying there long after a car wash or rain.

It's the fabrication of the housings. When you power wash your ride next time, angle the nozzle along the light housing line and it'll be forced out.

I get that too after rain or car wash. Most of us experience a bit of condensation inside too. I don't think there's much to worry about.

On the 2010's there are a inner and outer lense with drian holes to let any excess water drip out. I know there was a TSB regarding the water in the rear tail lights. check out the "Known issues,Technical Bulletins" section on the forum. I would link it but i'm on my phone and its a pain in the $%&..

But to answer your question its normail unless there is a standing amount in the tail light assembly

yeah that's pretty normal, I have water there all the time whenever I get a car wash.
