lol this might be common sense but, when buying gas, i used to take my wallet out, put it against the paypass emblem, and away i went. I had an old, expired card in my wallet as well, that happened to be paypas. What had happened last october and november was that when i did that at petrocan, it was reading my old expired card, and not my usual ct mastercard.
I had a balance of 292 bucks that carried over for 5 months, no payments, it actually took a huge hit on my credit!
the card was a really old one from 08! I had used it for a balance transfer for school tuition, and had never used it for any purchases. I kept it in my wallet for emergencies, lol
my credit score would have been really high, but right now is actually really low because of those 5 months balance carrying over.

the scary thing is my expired card still ringing through no problem. They had sent me a new card which i cut up, and had never activated it.
