forget all this occupy Wall Street crap....if you want to stick it to the corporations, everyone should close thier facebook account.

Tech stocks tend to be overvalued anyway, based on hype and speculation. It'll take some time for the price of the stock to reflect the performance of the company. I think they went IPO too late IMO, a lot of the "OMG FB" hype has died.

Facebook, like all big empires, have their time. One day, perhaps future children would wonder what Wal-Mart was like in 20 years time. Facebook has had its peak.

Yep

Mark Zuckerburg alone is worth close to 20 billion, and he only owns something like 27% of facebook shares.

it's been speculatively valued at ~$100 billion based on the price of its freshly issued stock, but that doesnt mean theres anyone willing to pay that much. A mass sell of stock would cause the prices to tumble as many believe its wildly overvalued. IPOs are notorious for sensationally over-valuing tech companies and I think (know) its market value will come down considerably in the not-to-distant future. I wouldnt pay to buy their stock, thats for damn sure. facebook aint google
