Long story short, one year ago, I went to a self car washing station at shell and use the water jet spray which chip some of the plastic around the truck seal. I couldn't believe how crappy of quality this button was to fall off during a car wash. The button kept on getting worst with each car wash.
Anyways, I went to the in the morning, push the button and it fell into wards.
What are my options? would dealership pay for this? how much is it?

Question is, why did you keep on going through the car wash when you saw it deteriorating.

winter cleaning specially under the car, even just the esso car washes didn't help much

i dont see why a dealer wouldnt.. if your still under 3 years or 80 000k. its for some reason the clips behind are broken or there is any signs of tampering then they may not. not a common repair so be warned before going in

I've never seen that before... was it falling forward? or was the plastic around the button falling off?
and why has no one commented that its not a truck button, but a TRUNK button?
